Briar Fork Church is a congregation that loves the Bible.
We believe God’s Word is inspired, inerrant, and a gateway through which modern believers can connect to that which is eternally good, pleasant, and true.
It contains those truths we believe most closely, the examples by which we shape our church practice and lifestyle, and the account of the great mercy and grace given to us by God the Father through our savior, Jesus Christ.
We strive to gather and worship in a manner that is honoring to God and obedient to His Word.
We believe there is no greater joy or pleasure in life than to do just that, and we’d love to share that experience with you!
Briar Fork Church has been meeting regularly for worship near the Briar Fork of the Flint River for over 200 years! And believe it or not, we haven’t changed much.
We believe our church’s history is a testimony of the ability of God’s institution to transcend the ebb and flow of culture, and give life across generations.
